This application allows you to operate a Toshiba TV / Blu-ray Disc™ player*, which is connected to your home Wi-Fi network by remote control from an iOS device. The iOS device and the compatible Toshiba TV or Blu-ray Disc™ player, must all be connected to the same Home Network.

Functions
Function depends on device type and recipient device (TV or Blu-ray)
Full Remote control:
Control your TV / Blu-ray Disc™ player as if you were using a traditional remote control
Gesture mode:
Select functions can be controlled by sliding or tapping the devices screen.
Text Input:*
You can input text into the text entry box displayed on the TV when you are accessing Toshiba Places on the TV.
*:The function is only available on selected Toshiba TVs.
How to setup the Toshiba Remote - Process may vary depending on model
TV Type A:
1.Enable New Device Detection on TV (Menu->Setup-Preferences-Network Device Setup-External Control Setup-Apps Control Profile-New Device Detection (ENABLED)
2.On your iOS device, launch Toshiba Remote
3.Select your country
4.Agree to the END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
5.Select your TV
6.Input on the Tablet, the pairing code displayed on your TV
7.Press the paired TV in the Device Selection list
TV Type B:
1.Within the TV menu, activate companion device control. (Menu->Setup-Preferences-Network Device Setup-External Control Setup-Create a User name and Password)
2.On your iOS device, launch Toshiba Remote
3.Select your country
4.Agree to the END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
5.Select your TV
6.Input to the device, the Username and Password created in step 2.

-Depending on the specifications of your iOS device, some of ‘Remote App’ Features, including screen display, may not work properly.
-Depending on the model and settings, it may not be possible to turn on the TV or Blu-ray Disc Player using this application. For applicable models, you can use this application to turn on the TV or Blu-ray Disc Player by setting the Power Control Mode in Network Device Setup to On in the TV or Blu-ray Disc Player Menu.
-To use this application, you need a home wireless LAN connection for the iOS device or other terminal, and when you use Advanced ‘Remote Control’ Features, a continuous internet connection environment for the Toshiba TV or Blu-ray Disc Player is required. Depending your home wireless LAN connection, some of ‘Toshiba Remote App’ Features may not work properly. Wireless LAN connection may depend on surrounding electromagnetic environment, obstacles, your home wireless LAN design, or application software installed of your iOS device.
